Make a difference by helping to keep residents safe and homes compliant.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to support the delivery of statutory compliance programmes across our housing stock. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the Council meets its legal and regulatory responsibilities while delivering safe, well-maintained homes and excellent services for residents.

You will be responsible for monitoring compliance performance, managing contractor delivery, maintaining accurate compliance records and asset data, and supporting the delivery of inspections, testing programmes and remedial works across the housing portfolio. Working closely with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders, you will help identify and manage compliance risks, improve service performance and provide assurance that regulatory requirements are consistently met.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing or supporting compliance, asset, repairs or housing-related programmes, together with strong analytical, organisational and communication skills. You will be confident working with data, producing performance reports, monitoring contractor performance and contributing to service improvement initiatives. A commitment to resident safety, customer service and continuous improvement is essential.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of housing compliance disciplines, contributing to the delivery of safe, sustainable and value-for-money housing services while supporting the Council's strategic objectives and regulatory obligations.
