Opportunities to join this team don’t come up often, and you’ll become part of an experienced, stable and supportive team who know the service well and are passionate about the work they do.

As a Social Care Practitioner, you’ll work alongside experienced social care professionals, supporting adults with serious or suspected mental health conditions and their carers. This role offers a clear development pathway, with the opportunity to progress to Grade 6 once you have met the required progression criteria.

You'll be joining an award-winning council and a service that was rated among the top-performing adult social care services in the country following our recent CQC inspection.

Wokingham Borough Council is committed to Social Care Future, a movement that aims to make sure everyone, regardless of age, health condition or disability, can live in a home they choose, maintain the relationships and activities that matter to them, and be part of a supportive community.
